Te Whāngai Trust supported the regeneration of the site through eco-sourced native plant supply, coordinated planting operations, and establishment maintenance aligned with long-term landscape objectives.

Project Overview.

Mokoia Pā forms part of Auckland’s network of significant cultural landscapes. The planting programme aimed to restore indigenous vegetation patterns, improve ecological resilience, and enhance public experience of the site.

Working alongside design and delivery partners, Te Whāngai Trust supplied and established native plant species appropriate to the site’s ecological and cultural context.
